You Are Real And You Matter

Remember that. You are real and you matter.

One thing that can happen from difficult trauma is that we can feel pulled inward, and when the trauma is very deep and complex, we may not know how to express. This can lead to a feeling of “I don’t matter.” We all have the universe/God within, or maybe we are the universe- either way you probably have amazing things to share. Super deep insights and a unique view. This is a gift.

So if you ever feel like you’re not being heard or you don’t matter, reaffirm that you do. God knows you do. You know it, deep down.

One thing that is helpful is to practice listening when you talk with people. Show them that you care by dropping as much as you can and just being there. This will signal to you and them that you value them and yourself. You can also, during silent time, just hear yourself in the same way. Giving yourself that feedback that you matter. Just hear whatever is coming up and allow it to be there. It’s a way of cultivating friendliness with yourself.

Wishing you health and strength!
