Supplements For Pain

Supplements can be very helpful. Of course, choosing high powered foods is super beneficial, but supplements can definitely help in different areas. I used to use a lot of supplements for bodybuilding. Along the way I realized it was just too much for my body and I started looking at things from a different view. Now I mainly take a vitamin, turmeric, fish oil, probiotic, vitamin D. I have been learning a lot about supplements for pain recently and reached out to a health food store for information. It was great to connect and share ideas with them. Here’s what I learned.

The first supplement they recommended was turmeric. Turmeric can help reduce pain and inflammation and I’ve read it can reduce the risk for cancer. As a side note, taking it with black pepper increases it’s ability to be absorbed. The second recommendation was for collagen. I didn’t get this and haven’t tried it yes, but I was told it helps with repair work. It can repair joints which can reduce pain and inflammation. The third supplement, which I got a sample of, is non THC CBD oil. I tried it and did notice a slight difference in pain, although I used it when pain was not as severe as it has been. I’ll be using it when pain flares up to see how it helps.

Overall, I feel it’s very important to remember you can always reach out and ask and look for answers. Whatever it is you’re trying to learn, there are people who are willing to share and guide you a bit. As for pain, specifically back pain, I think quality food, a lot of water, taking time to stretch, moving (enough, but not too strenuous), and taking a supplement, can help immensely.

Wishing you strength and health. Peace.
