
Our bodies heal themselves given the right nutrients, movement and care. We allow energy to flow through and the body’s wisdom naturally naturally just knows what to do. This is one of the most remarkable things about us.
There are certain foods that we can choose to nourish our brain in particular. Any kind of damage from injury, trauma, toxins- we can heal over time- yes, heal. This can help with focus- focusing on your goal or mission. And overall feeling more of a sense of wellbeing.
Healthy Fats: Olives/Oil, Wild Caught Fish, Avocados, Nuts/Seeds- healthy fats are linked to cognition.
Antioxidants: Berries, Fruits/Vegetables- different colors, especially dark leafy greens. Also the polyphenols in dark chocolate. Think of all these as protection.
Eggs: Choline, helping nerves to communicate and memory along with muscle function..
Protein (Amino Acids that help produce neurotransmitters): IF you eat meat- Turkey, Chicken, Salmon, Eggs, Peanuts for tryptophan, which converts into Serotonin- feeling joy.
Green Tea: Theanine, helping with GABA which is calming.
Sardines, Salmon: Tyrosine to help with dopamine- motivation and wellbeing. Plus they are full of brain healthy Omega 3s.
Cruciferous, Mushrooms, Greens, (The last two are on GBOMBS)- Sweet Potatoes, Tomatoes- Anti inflammatory and also Gaba.
All of these foods will provide the right energy and nutrients to heal and nourish your brain.
So at a foundational level- letting go of processed food and junk and replacing with ALL NATURAL, will help you heal and raise your mood, energy, vibration. Anything that is artificial is harmful, so do your best to let it go. There are many more foods that are like keys for you, but those above are just some of them.
