Here are some books and resources that can teach you a lot regarding learning about healing, rejuvenation and more. I’ve read, referenced or researched hundreds of books in specific categories throughout my journey- here are some great ones. Just like with any book, you might take it all in and only parts of it will land. You might read it again later on and more of it will be useful. Keep an open mind and implement what you can at a given time. I am hoping these can benefit you in many ways. Audible is also a tremendous resource to learn.
HEALTH, NUTRITION, HEALING
- Go Wild by John Ratey: This book is great for getting the jist of the benefits of changing your diet and getting different movement and exercise based on what you need. One helpful way to think about it is- how are we wired to eat and move, based on our ancestors.
- Strength Training Anatomy/Pocket Anatomy And Physiology: The first book is a great resource with diagrams of basic strength training and the muscles involved. This was a book I learned a lot from and referenced at the beginning and during my bodybuilding progress. Whatever level you’re at and your goals, listen to your body and strength training can be part of your practice. The second book is great for understanding and learning about physiology.
- Functional Fitness Formula: This is a great book on Audible that talks about functional movements and overall workout- touching on topics such as incorporating other movements, flexibility, and REST (My acronym is: Real Essential Silent Time) to avoid overtraining and adrenal fatigue/burnout. These are areas of my own journey that I learned a lot, painfully, by not listening to what was necessary. It’s respecting Yin and Yang, Action and Rest. I hope you find that helpful.
- Super Genes by Deepak Chopra: Another great book to learn to optimize your system and become stronger.
- The Mood Cure by Julia Ross: A great Nutrition book that can teach you a lot- Information on foods and supplements to help with mood and overall energy. If a food weakens the system, let it go. Eat what will make you stronger and improve vibration/energy.
- The Complete Book Of Chinese Health And Healing: Wisdom of Chinese Healing- you will find a lot of great knowledge here and answers for your questions.
- True Source Of Healing: A book of healing based on Buddhist tradition and the elements. Specifically healing by connecting with nature.
- Ancient Remedies by Josh Axe: Great resource for understanding Chinese, Ayurvedic and Biblical Medicine. Recognizing the wisdom of ancient remedies and listening to the Body.

- Biblical Nutrition by James Tibbets: This is a special book I received as a gift- a great start to understanding Biblical Nutrition and plant based nutrition for healing.
