Ashwaghanda is an adaptogenic. This means it helps our bodies respond better to stress. It can help rejuvenate and build up your energy reserves. This can be very beneficial especially if you’ve experienced adrenal fatigue or burnout. Of course, talk to your doctor if you are thinking of trying the supplement.

Ashwaghanda can help improve overall nervous system function. If you’ve had a lot of trauma, I believe it can help repair and recover the system. Even for something like working out. If you’re tired and need rest, it might be best to rest. But if you push through with caffeine or something like that, you’re depleting further. I think here, if you’ve been taking Ashwaghanda, you’re able to have more natural energy to use.

I’ve heard it says that in Traditional Chinese Medicine, there are the three treasures. Chi, Shen, and Jing. And one of them, or maybe all three together are like the wax of a candle.
